Background

2020 was a year that most would rather forget but Cheetham Bell wanted to still connect with clients and wish them a Happy Christmas.

Solution

Cheetham Bell designed a plate to commemorate 2020 – not one to be collected and kept, but to be destroyed.

Calling it ‘an awful plate, for an awful year’, the plate was adorned with humorous images of the awful year and mailed to 20 clients and suppliers with the invitation to smash it. Others had the opportunity to pulverise the plate digitally via the agency’s Instagram stories.
